Global Investigations Review 100 Ranks Ropes & Gray a Top Firm for Investigations and White Collar

For a sixth consecutive year, Ropes & Gray is ranked among the top law firms on the 2020 Global Investigations Review 100, an annual guide to the world’s leading investigations practices. This year the firm ranked in the top 20.  

GIR recognized Ropes & Gray for excellence in its handling of complex investigations and white collar matters across jurisdictions. The publication also highlighted Ropes & Gray’s culture of innovation – including the launch of R&G Insights Lab, an innovative, full service legal consulting group – and the industry’s first-ever analytics and behavioral science offering. GIR also notes that Ropes & Gray boasts the highest percentage of female partners within its core investigations team of any leading law firm on the list.

This ranking comes on the heels of other important awards and rankings for Ropes & Gray’s investigations practice. The recognition includes high rankings in Chambers USA for “FCPA - Nationwide”, “Corporate Crime & Investigations - Nationwide” and “White-Collar: Corporate Crime & Investigations” in New York, Illinois and Massachusetts.

In the UK, Chambers ranks Ropes & Gray for “Financial Crimes: Corporates”; in Asia for “Corporate Investigations/Anti-Corruption”; and in Latin America for “Corporate Crime & Investigations.”

In 2019, Law360 named Ropes & Gray a “White Collar Group of the Year.” The group is also the recipient of a 2020 Innovation Award from The New York Law Journal for its digital currency enforcement work.
