IP transactions and technology partner Regina Sam Penti (Boston) was named a “Go To Lawyer for Intellectual Property” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
An MIT-trained engineer, Regina has advised on complex IP and technology issues in several blockbuster transactions, including Altimeter Growth Corp. in its record-breaking nearly $40 billion combination with Singapore-based “super app” Grab Holdings to take Grab, with technology for ridesharing, delivery and concierge services, and digital payments, public in the U.S.
Regina’s experience as a dual-qualified US lawyer and UK solicitor proved crucial as her global perspectives informed discussions of these complex IP issues with groups in different jurisdictions. An outspoken advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, Regina consistently fields diverse teams on her matters and serves as a mentor for younger lawyers.
