Ropes & Gray has been shortlisted in the Finance Team of the Year category at the Lawyer Awards for its work advising AtlasEdge, a leading pan-European Edge data centre provider, on a scalable sustainability-linked €725 million loan financing.
The innovative financing package, which was a distinctive blend of standard digital infrastructure and LBO cash flow-based financing terms, consisted of €525 million in committed debt facilities and a further €200 million of uncommitted accordion. It also included sustainability-linked targets focused on efficiency and renewable energy usage, aligning with AtlasEdge’s mission to build a truly sustainable digital society.
The deal team was led by finance partner Alex Robb with support from associates Sean Darling, Chad Parkinson, Kahill Sarronwala and Edward Olsen, and trainees Miles Harrison and Alexandra Street. Other members of the team included partner Will Bryant and associates Harriet Moseley, Joey Patchitt, and Abbey Shaw (real estate), partner Chris Agnoli and associate Benjamin Wonnacott (tax), and associates Patrick Doherty and Kevin Nordin, and trainees Katie Fielding and Matthew Rice (litigation & enforcement).
