198 Ropes & Gray lawyers have been named to the 2025 Massachusetts Pro Bono Honor Roll by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court (SJC) Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services. This annual recognition honors those who have provided at least 50 hours of pro bono service over the past year. In addition, Ropes & Gray was one of only 9 firms that received special recognition for meeting stringent criteria measuring pro bono commitment and firm policies supporting pro bono service.
Of the 198 lawyers recognized, 103 are listed on the High Honor Roll for contributing 100 hours or more of pro bono service.
These honors were announced at the Adams Pro Bono Publico Awards, held on Tuesday, October 28, at the John Adams Courthouse in Boston and presented by Supreme Judicial Court Associate Justice Bessie Dewar, a Ropes & Gray alum. Ropes & Gray’s Pro Bono Counsel, Rosalyn Nasdor, an appointed member of the SJC Standing Committee, presented the honor roll recognitions at the event.
