On Sept. 26, government enforcement partner Eva Carman served as panelists during Regulatory Compliance’s webinar on the SEC’s lift of the ban on general solicitation in Rule 506 offerings. The webinar was delivered to more than 150 participants and reviewed the SEC’s amendment to Rule 506, which for 80 years prohibited general solicitation and advertising during offerings protected by this safe harbor. The panelists discussed the ramifications of the amended rule and gave practitioners guidance for engaging in future offerings.
