Jane Goldstein to Discuss Women in M&A at PLI’s M&A 2017: Advanced Trends & Developments Seminar

goldstein-jane-new-lowJane Goldstein, co-head of Ropes & Gray’s mergers & acquisitions practice, will be a featured speaker at the Practising Law Institute’s Mergers & Acquisitions 2017: Advanced Trends and Developments seminar in New York on Jan. 12-13. Ms. Goldstein will join fellow panelists Hon. Tamika R. Montgomery Reeves of the Delaware Court of Chancery, Lucy Ricca of Stanford Law School and Patricia Vella of Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP on the “Women in M&A” panel on Jan. 12, discussing issues affecting the participation and retention of women M&A lawyers, as well as steps law firms can take to make a material change and help women overcome barriers in the M&A industry.

Ms. Goldstein represents leading multinational retail and consumer products companies in mergers & acquisitions transactions, and she advises a wide range of public and private companies and their boards of directors with respect to corporate governance, securities regulation and general legal matters. She is co-managing partner of the firm's Boston office and a member of Ropes & Gray’s diversity committee. She formerly served as chair of the Ropes & Gray Women’s Forum, an affinity group that fosters professional growth through programs that give women lawyers access to firm and industry leaders and other experts.
