Speakers:
Ropes & Gray investment management partner Elizabeth Reza (Boston) will speak about board responsibilities at the Investment Company Institute’s 2018 Mutual Funds and Investment Management Conference. She will participate in a panel titled “Board Update: A Roundtable Discussion” on March 19. Ms. Reza and other panelists will tackle some of the challenging issues facing boards today, including modernizing responsibilities—a priority issue for the SEC and the independent director community. Other topics of discussion will include the true meaning of “oversight” and which board responsibilities should be reevaluated and revised. The ICI conference will be held March 18-21 in San Antonio, Texas.
