Ropes & Gray Hosts Directors Roundtable Event Honoring Distinguished General Counsel

Ropes & Gray’s New York office hosted a Directors Roundtable event on Oct. 2 honoring David Levine, chief legal officer of Sculptor Capital Management, and his team with the prestigious World Recognition of Distinguished General Counsel Award. Following the award presentation and an address by Mr. Levine, the guest of honor was joined by a group of experts for a panel discussion on regulatory, fiduciary and other legal issues facing global asset managers. Panelists included Ropes & Gray litigation partner David Hennes (New York); Richard Walker, partner at King & Spalding and former SEC enforcement director and general counsel; Lona Nallengara, partner at Shearman & Sterling and former SEC chief of staff; and Jennifer Dunn, partner at Schulte Roth & Zabel.
