Ropes & Gray Attorneys to Moderate Mergermarket Private Equity Forum New York 2023

Two Ropes & Gray attorneys will moderate panels at the Mergermarket Private Equity Forum New York taking place in New York City on April 26.

Private Equity partner Bob Rivollier will moderate a panel titled “Exits: an evolving landscape.” The panel will focus on the unique approaches PE firms are taking to navigate the evolving exit market, whether GPs are under pressure to sell, and what the exit market will look like throughout the remainder of 2023. Joining Bob on the panel will be representatives of leading private equity firms including Oaktree Capital Management and Partners Group.

Partner and global head of Ropes & Gray’s ESG, CSR and Business and Human Rights practice Michael Littenberg will moderate a panel entitled, “The future of ESG-trends, best practice and value creation.” The panel will focus on how ESG continues to be an important topic for GPs, LPs, and dealmakers alike and will provide insight into how ESG will drive investment strategies and deal activity this year. Joining Michael on the panel is Evan Greenfield, Managing Director of ESG, Private Equity NYC for British Columbia Investment Management Corporation, Michael Hill, Managing Director, Head of Americas, Sustainable Energies & Head of New York for CPP Investments, Sanaz Raczynski, Managing Director, Sustainability at Kohlberg & Company, Rajith Sebastian, Head of ESG and Sustainable Investing at New York State Insurance Fund, and Aniket Shah, Global Head of Environmental, Social and Governance and Sustainable Finance Strategy at Jeffries.
