Ropes & Gray represented private investment firm TPG Capital in its recent proposed purchase of Belgian diaper-maker Ontex, announced on July 15. Goldman Sachs’ private equity unit joined TPG in the proposed acquisition of the company. Newcomb Stillwell, a Boston-based private equity partner lead the Ropes & Gray team on the transaction.
