NRG Energy to Acquire Green Mountain Energy Company

Ropes & Gray represented Green Mountain Energy Company, the nation’s leading retail provider of clean energy products and services, in the proposed acquisition by NRG Energy, Inc. for $350 million in cash, announced on September 16.

The Ropes & Gray deal team was led by Boston-based partner Amanda Holt.
