Ropes & Gray is representing Sadra Medical in its proposed acquisition by Boston Scientific, announced November 19. The agreement calls for an upfront payment of $225 million plus additional potential payments of up to $225 million upon achievement of specified regulatory and revenue-based milestones through 2016.
The deal team was led by San Francisco-based life sciences partner Geoff Leonard.
Ropes & Gray has represented Sadra since it was formed in 2003, handling all their financings, including Boston Scientific’s initial investment in 2006.
