Investment management partner Elizabeth Reza (Boston) is quoted in an April 3 Fund Action article titled “Getting Boards Comfortable With Alts Funds.” Ms. Reza emphasizes that the Board should help ensure that the prospectus clearly describes the strategy of an alternative investment fund. With respect to the prospectus, she explains, “Make sure it is understandable to someone who hasn’t had that hour with the portfolio manager, who hasn’t had the board memo that explains what the strategy is.”
