Ropes & Gray advised Altamont Capital Partners on its majority recapitalization of Fox Head, Inc., the world’s leading motocross equipment, apparel and accessory brand. Altamont led the shareholder group in the deal, which included Hybrid Promotions LLC, who will serve as a strategic supply chain partner, as well as the founding Fox family and motocross athletes Ricky Carmichael and Carey Hart. The transaction was announced Dec. 10 and closed Dec. 19. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal team from Ropes & Gray was led by private equity partner Howard Glazer (San Francisco) and included tax partner Leo Arnaboldi (New York), and intellectual property transactions partner Edward Black (Boston).
