Ropes & Gray represented Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe and health care staffing provider Onward Healthcare in the sale of Onward by OGH, LLC to AMN Healthcare Services, Inc. Welsh Carson is the majority owner of OGH, which divested of Onward as well as Locum Leaders and Medefis in the transaction. The acquisition was announced Dec. 17 and is expected to close by mid-January 2015, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
The New York-based Ropes & Gray team included private equity partner Othon Prounis, executive compensation & employee benefits partner Allie Alperovich, and tax partner Leo Arnaboldi.
