Chambers Asia Recognizes Ropes & Gray as Leading Firm in Asia

Ropes & Gray has received outstanding recognition in the Chambers Asia 2014 rankings released on Feb. 17. The firm ranked highly among the best law firms and has seen a significant increase in the Asia-Pacific region with new  Asia-wide rankings for intellectual property, private equity investment funds and life sciences, in addition to a ranking for Corporate: M&A and private equity for the fourth consecutive year.

Overall, Ropes & Gray had 13 rankings in the following categories:

  • Banking & finance
  • Corporate/M&A
  • Intellectual property
  • Investment funds: private equity funds
  • Life sciences
  • Private equity

In addition to the firm rankings, 15 attorneys received 17 rankings in the guide.

In China, the firm was newly ranked  for banking & finance, in addition to repeat rankings for corporate: M&A, IP, private equity investment funds, life sciences and private equity buyouts.

In Japan, the firm received a new ranking for corporate: M&A, in addition to a repeat ranking for IP.

And in South Korea, Ropes & Gray is the only firm ranked in Band 1 for IP for the second consecutive year.
