Ropes & Gray recently advised Altamont Capital Partners on its acquisition of a majority stake in Celestite Holdings, a prominent non-standard auto insurance managing general agency. Altamont is a San Francisco Bay area-based private investment firm with more than $1 billion of capital under management. The transaction closed on March 3.
