The American Lawyer published the results of the 2015 edition of the Midlevel Associates Survey, which queries third-, fourth- and fifth-year associates on their satisfaction levels, ranking Ropes & Gray fifth out of 115 participating AmLaw 200 and Global 100 firms. The survey asks associates to gauge their levels of satisfaction in areas including work engagement, compensation, relations with partner- and associate-level colleagues, training opportunities, and overall workplace satisfaction.

This ranking complements Ropes & Gray’s recent recognition by Vault, which ranked the firm second on its "Best Law Firms to Work For" roster and first for firm culture and formal training. Ropes & Gray was also ranked number five on The American Lawyer’s prestigious "A-List" for 2015, which ranks the top firms in the United States based on firm performance, pro bono work, diversity and associate satisfaction.
