Ropes & Gray counseled TPG Growth and JMI Equity on the sale of portfolio company PowerPlan Inc. to Thoma Bravo. PowerPlan is an Atlanta, Ga.-based software company providing accounting, tax and capital budgeting optimization solutions for asset-intensive businesses within the utility, oil and gas, transportation, and telecom industries. The deal was announced on Feb. 23; financial terms were not disclosed.
