Private equity transactions partner James Lidbury (Hong Kong) and corporate associate Justin Voeks (Chicago) co-authored an article examining the court’s finding in Miramar Police Officers' Retirement Plan v. Murdoch that a settlement agreement entered into by News Corporation’s former parent entity was not binding. The article was published in the International Law Office Corporate Finance/M&A Newsletter on Sept. 9.
