Ropes & Gray Advises Netmarble Games Corp. in Deal with Multiplayer Mobile Gaming Company Kabam

Ropes & Gray advised Netmarble Games Corp., a leading mobile game company headquartered in South Korea, in its agreement to acquire Kabam’s Vancouver studio. Kabam is a world leader in multiplayer free-to-play games for mobile devices. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2017, and additional terms were not released.

The Ropes & Gray team advising Netmarble included private equity partner Jaewoo Lee (Seoul) and corporate associates Hannah Jenkins and Blair Green (both of San Francisco).
