Ropes & Gray has been recognized by Yale Law Women in its annual listing of firms that have “demonstrated superior performance in specific categories of family friendliness.” Specifically, the firm is one of only two firms recognized in the Gender Equity category for having women comprise more than 25 percent of our partnership.

“We have amazing women lawyers, up and down our ranks, who are helping to lead the firm into the 21st century, and we are honored to receive this distinction,” said Laura Hoey, one of the three co-chairs of the firm’s Women’s  Forum, which plays a vital role in helping women lawyers strengthen their skills and navigate the unique challenges they may face throughout their careers. “We look forward to building on our efforts over the coming years and to fostering the development and advancement of the talented women lawyers here.”

Through the Women’s Forum programs, Ropes & Gray offers its women attorneys a range of educational, professional development and networking opportunities.

Ropes & Gray is widely recognized for its diversity and inclusion efforts.  For example, the 2018 Vault Guide, released on June 27, ranked the firm #1 for Overall Diversity and named us a top five firm for Diversity for Women.
