Labor & Employment Attorney Quoted in HR Daily on Employment Agreements and Executive Misconduct

Practices: Litigation, Labor & Employment, Labor Management Relations

Labor & employment associate Douglas Brayley (Boston) was quoted in a Nov. 1 Society for Human Resource Management HR Daily article examining how executive employment agreements relate to criminal behavior or other misconduct.

Mr. Brayley explains that, while executive employment agreements often provide for severance, such provisions usually carve out criminal misconduct. He also notes that employers should always investigate and attempt to remedy sexual harassment by supervisors, and observes that employers are liable for sexual harassment committed by supervisors.
