Health care associates Christine Moundas (New York) and Minal Caron (Boston) authored a Law360 article published on Feb. 15 addressing a path for sharing health information nationwide.

The authors explain that the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, operating within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has released a draft Trusted Exchange Framework. It maps out a public-private partnership designed to promote interoperability among health information networks. The article addresses the Trusted Exchange principles and required terms and conditions, along with evaluation questions.
