Ropes & Gray Acts As Fund Counsel on Orion Resource Partners’ Orion Mine Finance Fund II

Ropes & Gray acted as fund counsel in connection with Orion Resource Partners’ Orion Mine Finance Fund II. The fund announced its final close with over $2.1 billion of capital commitments on Feb. 9. Orion Resource Partners is one of the world's largest alternative finance providers to the metals and mining sector.

Fund II will continue Orion's strategy of financing the construction of later-stage mine projects through a combination of debt, equity and production-linked investments. Investors in Fund II include some of the world's largest and most sophisticated investors, including leading sovereign wealth funds, public and private pension funds, endowments and foundations, fund of funds, and family offices.
