A Sept. 24 article in ACA Insight titled “Don’t Promise One Investment Strategy to Investors and Use Another” reviews the complaint by investors in a private fund managed by Biltmore Wealth Management that the investment strategy it utilized was not the approach they were advised it would employ. The article includes remarks from private investment funds partner Jason Brown, who states that the settlement “shows the importance of reviewing your disclosures carefully and making sure that you have a process in place to monitor compliance.”
