Ropes & Gray Advises Weld North Education in its Acquisition of Glynlyon, Inc.

Ropes & Gray advised Weld North Education, in its agreement to acquire Glynlyon, Inc., a portfolio company of Linsalata Capital Partners. Weld North Education, in partnership with Silver Lake, is a leading digital education technology company focused on developing digital curriculum and tools for pre-K–12 students. Glynlyon and its businesses will join Weld North Education's portfolio of existing digital education companies, Edgenuity and Imagine Learning. The transaction, announced on Feb. 6, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2019 subject to customary closing conditions.

Glynlyon is a digital curriculum company serving more than 1 million students in the institutional and consumer education markets. Glynlyon operates two highly valued brands: Odysseyware, which serves the K–12 schools across the United Stateswith innovative online learning solutions and AOP, an award-winning leading homeschool curriculum provider.
