Ropes & Gray Announces Counsel Promotions in London

Global law firm Ropes & Gray announces that 14 lawyers across the firm have been promoted to counsel. Of these, two are based in the firm’s London office. 

The new London counsel are: 

  • Will Bryant, Counsel, Private Equity Real Estate
  • Myrto Gouti, Counsel, Private Equity Transactions

“The depth of experience possessed by all three of these talented lawyers will help us enhance our market-leading offering and outstanding client service,” said London co-managing partner Mike Goetz. “Their promotions reflect our commitment to our private equity transactions and private equity real estate practices, as well as to supporting our lawyers as they develop and progress their careers at the firm.”

Since 2010, when Ropes & Gray launched its London office, the firm has promoted 18 lawyers to counsel and 14 to partner. Ropes & Gray’s London office now has 130 fee-earners (47% female), including 23 partners (39% female) and 11 counsel (55% female).
