Asset Management Partner Nathan Briggs Quoted in Reuters on SEC Regulatory Proposal for Closed-End Funds
An April 17 article published by Reuters reported that the Securities and Exchange Commission released a proposed rule calling for closed-end funds to provide investors with more detailed fund analysis, as well as for streamlined regulatory filing requirements for business development companies. Asset management partner Nathan Briggs was quoted in response to the proposed rule. "This is all consistent of the general sentiment of the SEC...for better disclosure, more transparency and also more user-friendly disclosure," he said.
