Ropes & Gray represented Cancer Treatment Services International and TPG Growth in the sale of Cancer Treatment Services International to Varian Medical Systems for $283 million. CTSI is part of Asia Healthcare Holdings, a healthcare operating platform founded by TPG Growth. The transaction, announced on May 20, is anticipated to close in approximately two weeks, subject to customary closing conditions.
CTSI owns and operates an expanding network of cancer treatment facilities across India and South Asia, including several brands: the American Oncology Institute, U.S.-based CTSI Oncology Solutions, and AmPath.
