Litigation & enforcement partner Christopher Conniff (New York), counsel Greg Demers (Boston) and associate Cole Goodman (Boston) co-authored an article published by The New York Law Journal that reexamines the scope of “scheme liability” after an impactful investment fraud ruling in Lorenzo v. SEC. In August, the Tenth Circuit became the first federal court of appeals to apply and interpret the U.S. Supreme Court’s latest securities fraud decision after Lorenzo in Malouf v. SEC.
