Asset Management Partner Nathan Briggs Discusses Industry Challenges for the Incoming ICI CEO in Fund Intelligence
After more than 16 years, Investment Company Institute president and CEO Paul Schott Stevens will retire at the end of 2020. In a Jan. 28 Fund Intelligence article titled “ICI CEO to retire, with successor facing challenge of representing an industry in transition,” asset management partner Nathan Briggs discusses industry challenges for his successor.
“There are a number of issues relating to interval funds in which the ICI is actively engaged, and that’s an area where there’s lots of potential for collaboration and agreement between the ICI and SEC,” Nathan said. “I think they have a shared goal of educating investors on these vehicles.”
