Ropes & Gray Advises Cloud Data Management Leader Veeam Software in its $5 Billion Acquisition by Insight Partners

Ropes & Gray advised Veeam Software in its definitive agreement to be acquired by Insight Partners, a deal valued at approximately $5 billion. The transaction was announced on Jan. 9 in a press release.

Veeam is the leader in backup solutions that deliver Cloud Data Management. Under Insight Partners ownership, Switzerland-based Veeam will become a U.S. company with a U.S.-based leadership team while continuing its global expansion from offices in 30 countries with customers in over 160 countries. The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2020.
