Ropes & Gray Contributes UK Chapter to the Legal 500 Comparative Guide: Private Equity (2nd Edition)

Practices: Private Equity, Tax, Behavioral Science – Compliance Through Culture

The Legal 500 has published the second edition of its comparative guide on private equity. The guide is designed to provide the in-house community with a pragmatic overview of private equity law across a variety of jurisdictions. Each chapter of the guide provides information about the current issues affecting private equity practice across a range of jurisdictions and addresses topics such as mergers and acquisitions, management incentive schemes and debt financing.

Ropes & Gray has exclusively written the chapter for the United Kingdom, which provides an overview of the legal framework and key issues surrounding private equity in the UK. Authors of the chapter include partners John Newton (private equity), Alex Robb (finance) and Andrew Howard (tax) and private equity associate Shona Ha.
