Ropes & Gray advised New Mountain Capital in its partnership with Pearce Services, LLC, and Pearce’s simultaneous acquisition of MaxGen Energy Services and World Wind & Solar. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. The transaction was announced on April 14. The press release is here.
Pearce’s acquisition of MaxGen and World Wind & Solar creates the leading technology-enabled platform providing outsourced field and engineering services for distributed electromechanical infrastructure assets. The combined business will be known as Pearce Services. MaxGen and WWS will continue to operate their respective brands at this time.
