Ropes & Gray Represents BVI® in its Acquisition of Benz Research & Development

Ropes & Gray represented BVI®, a TPG portfolio company, in its acquisition of Benz Research & Development and its customized contact lens subsidiary, SpecialEyes. Both companies are based in Sarasota, Florida. The transaction was announced on October 15. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The press release is here.

Benz R&D is the leading technologically advanced independent supplier of performance materials and manufacturing technology to the IOL industry.
