On November 3, Massachusetts Governor Charles Baker nominated Dalila Argaez Wendlandt to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. She currently serves as an Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, a position to which she was appointed by Gov. Baker in July 2017.

Justice Wendlandt served as a partner in Ropes & Gray’s intellectual property practice for more than a decade, starting as an associate at the firm in 1997. If confirmed, she will be the first Latina to join the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
