Ropes & Gray advised Advarra, a Genstar portfolio company, in its acquisition of IntegReview, an ethical review board/institutional review board based in Austin, Texas. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition was announced on Nov. 9. The press release is here

Advarra is the premier provider of institutional review board, institutional biosafety committee, quality and compliance consulting services, and research technology solutions. Established in 1999, IntegReview provides ethical review for all phases of industry-sponsored and federally funded research in the U.S.
