Ropes & Gray represented The Jordan Company in its acquisition of Arclin from Lone Star. The transaction was announced on Aug. 16. The press release is here. 

Arclin is a chemistry-based provider of highly technical, engineered products for the residential building products market and other industries. TJC, founded in 1982, is a middle-market private equity firm that has managed funds with original capital commitments in excess of $15 billion.
