Ropes & Gray Advises Cinven in Drake Software Investment
Ropes & Gray advised Cinven, an international private equity firm, in its agreement to make a significant investment in Drake Software, a provider of software for tax preparers. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. The deal was announced in a February 5 press release.
The team advising Cinven was led by private equity partners Amanda McGrady Morrison and Sandy Boer (both of Boston), tax partner Pamela Glazier (Boston), benefits partner Allie Alperovich (New York), labor & employment partner Megan Bisk (Boston), intellectual property transactions partner Megan Baca (Silicon Valley) and privacy & data security partner Ed McNicholas (Washington, D.C.). The team also included associates Brandon Winer, Andrea Daley and Merry Sheehan (all of Boston).
