Ropes & Gray Advises Summa Equity in its Acquisition of G-CON Manufacturing

Ropes & Gray advised Summa Equity in its acquisition of G-CON Manufacturing, a leading maker of prefabricated cleanrooms used by the pharmaceutical industry. The transaction was announced on July 20. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The press release is here.

G-CON, based in College Station, Texas, designs, builds and installs turnkey compliant suites called PODs for a global biopharma customer base focused on biologics, pharma and cell and gene therapy manufacturing. Summa Equity invests in companies that are solving global challenges and creating positive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) outcomes for society.
