Ropes & Gray Represents Daxko and GI Partners in the Recapitalization of Daxko

Ropes & Gray represented Daxko and GI Partners in the recapitalization of the company by Genstar Capital and existing investor GI Partners. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. It was announced in an Oct. 19 press release. 

Daxko is the leading software and integrated payments provider for the health, fitness and wellness industries. GI Partners is a leading private investment firm based in San Francisco with offices in New York, Chicago, Greenwich and Scottsdale. Since its founding in 2001, GI Partners has raised over $29 billion in capital from leading institutional investors around the world.

The Ropes & Gray team that advised Daxko and GI Partners on the sell-side matters was led by private equity partners Howard Glazer and Chau Le (both of San Francisco), employment, executive compensation & benefits partner Jennifer Cormier (Boston), tax partner Benjamin Rogers (San Francisco), asset management partner Bryan Hunkele (New York), and data, privacy & cybersecurity counsel Kevin Angle (Boston).  Leveraged finance partner Michael Lee (Boston) advised Daxko and GI Partners on the new debt financing.
