Ropes & Gray represented Baring Private Equity Asia in the acquisition of the Healthcare Services business of Hinduja Global Solutions Limited. The transaction was based on an enterprise value of $1.2 billion. An announcement that the transaction has been completed was made public in a Jan. 6 press release.
HGS’ Healthcare Services business supports payer, providers, laboratories, durable medical equipment firms and pharmaceutical companies. The business has over 20,000 employees across four geographies – India, the Philippines, the US and Jamaica – and recorded FY2021 revenue of approximately $400 million.
