In a Bloomberg Law article, health care partner David Peloquin discussed privacy protections related to research concerning reproductive health following the U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning Roe V. Wade.
David explains that if there’s sensitive information about reproduction that is collected in a research study, certificates of confidentiality issued by the National Institutes of Health could be a tool to limit disclosure of that information in response to legal process, including court orders or subpoenas.
