Anti-corruption and International Risk Expert María González Calvet to Share Global Perspective at Anti-Corruption Events

Anti-corruption and international risk partner and former U.S. federal prosecutor María González Calvet will share her global perspective and offer expert advice to a diverse audience of anti-corruption professionals at two upcoming industry events. With a practice that spans two decades, Maria is recognized for her significant experience in anti-corruption and other investigative matters in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe, and in nearly every business sector.

María will take part in “Bribery Schemes Part 1: Preventing Fraud in Third-Party Transactions,” the first of a three-part webinar series addressing how companies can detect and prevent corporate fraud and bribery schemes. Hosted by Lextegrity and scheduled for Tuesday, September 13^th at 11:00 am – 12:00 pm EST, the session will provide critical insights for corporate compliance professionals.

For Marval’s 5^th Annual Summit on Compliance, Anti-Corruption, and Investigations, María will discuss compliance and enforcement trends, and challenges in FCPA enforcement, particularly in Latin America. The international event, which brings together prominent local and international experts, will take place on Wednesday, September 14^th in Buenos Aires from 1:00pm – 1:40pm EST.
