Ropes & Gray Represents Northleaf Capital Partners and Avalt in a Securitized Financing for Amarok

Ropes & Gray represented Northleaf Capital Partners and AVALT in completing a refinancing transaction in a securitized note offering of Class A and Class B Senior Secured Notes for AMAROK LLC and its subsidiaries. The principal amount of the transaction was not disclosed. The private placement closed on Sept. 7 and was arranged by Barclays Capital.

AMAROK, formerly Electric Guard Dog, is a leading provider of perimeter security infrastructure solutions in the United States, and is majority owned by funds managed by Northleaf and AVALT. Northleaf Capital is a global private markets investment firm with more than $20 billion under management. AVALT is a family office that invests only its own principals' capital in high quality companies that have significant long-term potential.

The team that represented Northleaf and AVALT was led by finance partner Chris Poggi, and included leveraged finance partner Alexander Zeltser, private equity partner Charlie Boer, benefits partners Pamela Glazier and Joshua Lichtenstein, capital markets partner Craig Marcus, finance partner Patricia Lynch, business restructuring partners James Wilton and Ryan Preston Dahl, and senior associate Daniel Lee.
