Melissa notes she is watching for legislation governing stablecoins, given that these assets compose a much larger portion of the overall market and are generally less varied in structure relative to other digital assets. She will also be watching how the adoption of the Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulation unfolds in the European Union this spring and whether that regulation prompts further action in the US.
