Chicago Office Co-Hosts Volunteer Day with the Greater Chicago Food Depository

Two dozen Ropes & Gray attorneys and business support staff recently worked in tandem with the Greater Chicago Food Depository to pack thousands of meals for low-income and disadvantaged Chicagoans facing hunger. In 2022, the Greater Chicago Food Depository provided 77.3 million meals to households in the Greater Chicago area experiencing food insecurity.  Simultaneously, over 2,000 Ropes & Gray team members contributed 130,000 pro bono hours to organizations and individuals nationwide.

The Ropes & Gray volunteer team packed 245 boxes of apples, or 9,800 pounds, which in turn will help provide 8,667 meals. The team included Paulita Pike, Janet Coscino, Ethan Glendening, Sammy Gordon, Austin Kelly, Curt Ostosh, Karina Partovi, Leah Sibbio Blue, Brianna Costantini, Patrick Cuffaro, Shelli Dew, Kori Fahrner, Sheena Harris, Nora Kiss, Christopher Larsen, LaTosha McElroy, Joseph Raef, and Ricardo Vengas.
