In a Q&A published by enterprise climate and emissions reduction platform Watershed, Michael Littenberg, partner and global head of Ropes & Gray’s ESG, CSR and Business and Human Rights practice, discussed the proposed set of California’s bills known as the Climate Accountability Package which focuses on corporate climate responsibility. If passed, the bills would create significant climate risk disclosure and other compliance obligations for larger companies doing business in California.
