In a Bloomberg News article, Joshua Lichtenstein, a partner in the employment, executive compensation and employee benefits department and head of the firm’s ERISA fiduciary practice, examined environmental, social and governance (ESG) attacks led by the Republican Party against the world’s largest climate coalition for insurers.
“The biggest success of the anti-ESG movement is getting companies to talk less about ESG,” said Joshua. “They have slowed the trajectory of ESG communications in the US. But the pro-ESG side is still winning by a large margin.”
